They come in a range of lovely colours, and lace up the front, just like a real corset. You don't even have to do any cutting - it's already die-cut to shape.
You can add whatever decorations you want - I've used some pastel coloured lace and some ready-gathered broderie anglaise, stuck on using double sided sticky tape.
Lots of people have asked me, how do I lace the corset? So here's the way I do it.
The ribbon has got to be six times the length between the topmost and bottommost hole.
Start by lacing the ribbon through the two bottom holes going from front to back and back to the front, as shown on the right.
Cross each side of the ribbon over into the next hole on the opposite side. Next, cross the ribbons under, so they come out the front again. Repeat this until you get to the top. Tie in a pretty bow.
